I have inserted my SIM card but there is no cellular reception

If you have inserted your SIM and there's no cellular reception. Ensure that "Roaming"is switched on in your handset's network settings.

If you have inserted your SIM and your phones says "No SIM" or "SIM Not Recognised", your handset may be still locked to your Australian Carrier Network. Please try testing the SIM in another handset to confirm if it works. If both handsets say "No SIM", please get in touch with us.

My phone shows cellular reception but I can't use the internet

If you have inserted your SIM, and your handset is picking up cellular reception, but can't access any data. This likely means your handset has not automatically configured its APN correctly.

Follow the below steps to fix:

1. Reset Network Settings
2. Remove the SIM, Reboot your Phone, then Re-insert your SIM
3. Re-Input APN details if required.
4. Check if you can now access data

If you still can't access data:

Check that the APN configuration is correctly pointing to the carrier network

Europe SIM - My Balance is NIL when making calls

The features and allowances for your SIM are applied as as a Prepaid Package. Monetary value is not required to use the features or allowances in your SIM.

Making Calls In Europe

When you're making calls in Europe or to other European numbers, ensure you use the correct country specific dial out codes. If incorrect dial out codes are used, the network won't be able to recognise where you're trying to call. Therefore you will receive a nil balance notification.

Please note that international calls to countries outside Europe are not included.

Making Calls Between SIMs

Your Europe SIM cards come with UK mobile numbers. Within the UK, you can dial the numbers directly. If you're outside the UK, ensure to dial +44 followed by the mobile number without the 0.

Please note that non standard calls to premium numbers in the UK are not included.

Japan SIM - My Hotspot is not working

If you have inserted your SIM and can access data, but cannot use Hotspot. This likely means your handset has not automatically configured its Hotspot APN correctly.

Follow the below steps to fix:

1. Go to Mobile Data Network within network settings.
2. Input "vmobile.jp" in Hotspot APN field only. Leave all other fields blank.
3. Reboot your phone.
