Activating your SIM
The Asia data SIM card automatically activates upon first use. When you arrive at your destination, simply insert the SIM into your handset and switch on roaming. Once cellular reception is picked up, your SIM will automatically activate.
Your Mobile Number
The Asia data SIM card does not come with a phone number and cannot be used for calls and texts. We recommend using VoIP apps such as WhatsApp or Messenger etc for calls and texts.
Recharging your SIM
The Asia data SIM card cannot be recharged. We recommend purchasing multiple SIMs for extra data and staggering the use.
Checking Usage/Balances
The easiest way to monitor data usage is via your phone's network settings. There will be a data tracker which lets you know how much roaming data has been used since inserting the SIM.
- iPhone : Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile > Current Period/Current Period Roaming.
- Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Data Usage.
- Google Pixel: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
Please note that removing the SIM will reset the data usage tracker.
