Your UK SIM card will be set up for use based on the "SIM Activation Date" you nominate at purchase. We process SIM activations between 5AM - 6AM UK time (GMT). Please ensure you provide us with the actual date you wish to begin SIM use and insert the SIM in your phone on the date selected. If an incorrect date is provided, it may delay SIM activation. If your travel dates change or cancel, you need to notify us prior to the scheduled activation.
If you wish to purchase multiple SIMs with staggered activations. Please select a different activation date as you add each SIM to cart.
When you arrive in the UK, insert the SIM into your handset and switch on roaming. Upon your handset picking up cellular reception, you will receive some welcoming messages to confirm successful activation.
Your UK SIM card comes with a pre-assgined UK mobile number. The 11 digit mobile number will be sent to you via a welcoming text when you first insert the SIM.
Your UK Travel SIM can only be recharged if it's used inside the UK exclusively. Recharges can be purchased in Three UK retail stores across the UK or online via Three if you have a UK credit card.
To check the usage balances remaining on your UK SIM card, you need to register an account with Three online. To register an account please click HERE. Once you have registered, you can check the balances remaining within your account.
To make calls or send texts in Europe: It is important to use the correct country specific dial out codes. Eg. To call a number in France, you need to dial +33 followed by the telephone number without the first digit. To call a UK telephone number, you need to dial +44 followed by the telephone number without the first digit.
Note: If the incorrect dial out codes are used, you will receive a nil balance/top up message - This is because the network does not recognise the location of the number you're dialling. It does not mean that you've run out of credit.

To make calls to UK numbers whilst in the UK, you can dial the numbers directly without any dial out codes.
Calls & SMS to Australia
International calls and sms to Australia are not included as a feature of this SIM. To make calls and send texts to Australia, we recommend using VoIP apps such as Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook Chat, Wechat, Skype etc.
Receiving calls & SMS from Australia
Your friends and family can call and text your assigned UK mobile number by dialling +44 7XXX XXX XXX. However we always recommend using VoIP apps such as Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook Chat, Wechat, Skype etc where possible.

All of our Prepaid Travel SIMs work in areas where cellular signal is available. At open sea, when you're outside range of network towers, cellular signal may be weak or not available. However coverage will be available closer to port.
As long as your phone/tablet is unlocked they should be compatible with our prepaid Travel SIMs. If your handset is more than 7 years old, please contact us for advice on compatibility.
If you think your phone/tablet is locked, we recommend contacting your Aussie carrier for unlocking. If your phone/tablet has been issued to you from your employer, please check with them for compatibility as some work devices have additional security applications installed.
All orders are dispatched from Melbourne and carried out by Australia Post Australia wide. Orders placed prior to 3PM AEST will be dispatched same business day. We offer 2 postage options. If you require a SIM urgently, we recommend placing your order with Express Post.

Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email from us. Once your order has been dispatched by our team, you will receive a confirmation of dispatch email along with the tracking number for your order. You can then track your order by clicking the tracking number in the email.
All international SIM card orders are shipped from Melbourne, Australia via Registered International Post. All international SIM card orders come with tracking + signature on delivery.
